My style
I believe that the best portraits of animals are those where they are just being themselves, usually in an environment where they are comfortable. I prefer not to pose your pet, rather I will get acquainted with them and photograph them when they are relaxed and happy. I will do whatever it takes to capture the essence of your pet - be it in the studio, at their favourite place or with their favourite toy or human!
As you are the one who knows your pet best, I also like to talk to you so we can work out the best time of day and place for your session. This ensures that you, and your pet, will be comfortable during the session. So, you name the place - it can be your home, your pet's favourite area, or in my home studio.
About me
I have a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Arts) with a major in Photography from the University of Western Sydney and I have been taking photographs since my grandparents gave me my first camera when I was about 12 years old. I have always had pets and a love of animals. I currently have two dogs, who are often my models!
I am also involved in ACT Rescue & Foster (ARF) who do a fantastic job of finding loving forever homes for dogs that are rescued from euthanasia.
